Get Ready For Round #2 Of The Texas/Louisiana Wing Modified Shootout July 11th! The Texas/Louisiana Wing Modified Shootout Round
#2 is set for July 11th at Gene Boyter's Ark-La-Tex Speedway! A slew of special contingencies have been added for the
final shootout of the year between the Texas Wing Modified Association and the Ark-La-Tex Wing Modified Association.

4/8- WIN A WING MODIFIED!!! X-Factor Racing is holding a raffle the length of the season to give away a wing modified rolling chassis. All you have to supply is the Motor, seat, safety belts, and transmission. Everything else is on the car ready for additions to go racing! Tickets can be purchased at each Ark-La-Tex Wing Modified race for only $10 each. The car will be on display at most every Shreveport-area wing modified event. The winner will be drawn at the Ark-La-Tex Wing Modified Championship Banquet at the end of the year. You do not have to be present to win, and the winner will be phoned at that time. 4/7- (1) Reminder- Since this year we are using passing points, it is important that you make the draw on time. Failing to make the draw will result in you not only starting at the rear of a heat, but you will also not earn any passing points towards a your feature starting position. You will only acquire your 'Finishing Position" points if you miss the draw. (2) This saturday marks the beginning of the "Shed Road Auto Parts Front Row Challenge". The pole sitter has the opportunity to collect an additional $250 if he elects to drop to the rear of the field prior to the green flag. If he wins the feature from last starting position he will earn an extra $250 from Shed Road Auto Parts. Rules: (1) Must start at least 16 cars in feature, (2) Offered to pole sitter, (3) If pole sitter declines, it will be offered to the outside pole only, (4) Must have "Front Row Challenge" sticker on car, (5) The challenge increases $50 each night it goes unclaimed, (6) Once challenge is won, it will start over at $250.
3/31- Raceceivers are mandatory at each and every ALTWM event and not having one will result in you being dropped to the rear of the field during each and every caution line-up. Everyone has had since December to get a Raceceiver so there is no excuse not to have one. Also April 15th is the deadline to have t-shirt sponsors in so lets do what we can to get all our sponsors.
